Welcome to the ChinNet 2001 Calendar Contest !. As of the year 2000, ChinNet will organize an anual calendar contest that will result in the printing of The ChinNet Calendar for the year to come. Contestants may enter their best pictures in order to get elected as being one of 12 best pictures to be printed as an illustration for every month of the year. Winners will get the calendar for free next to many other prizes that where made available by Chinchilla related businesses from all over the world. After that, copies of the calendar will be sold at reasonable prices to support ChinNet.

This year the theme of the calendar contest is 'Natural Behaviour'. Therefore we're looking for pictures that express the characteristic behaviour of Chinchillas, like their playfulness and curiousity. Excluded from the contest are pictures that express anger or fear or pictures that show Chins acting against their will. Please make sure that you models will enjoy the contest as much as you do. Secondly, please make sure that the pictures show as little as possible of the surroundings wherein the pictures where taken.

Want to participate?. Entries will be accepted when received before September 1st, 2000, up to a maximum of 5 pictures per street address. Please send your prints to ChinNet, Gruttolaan 4, 1735GW 't Veld, The Netherlands. In order to produce a high quality calendar, we need real, clean pictures. Digital images will not be suitable for high quality printing, nor will prints of digital images. Next to your pictures and descriptions of them, please make sure that you send your full name, postal address and email address (optional) along. Entries received will be posted on our entries page. Due to the costs involved, prints sent to ChinNet will not be returned, so please make sure you keep your negatives.
