I want to see my chinchilla files on ChinNet too !

The good news is : you can ! Buffnet, a Buffalo-based internet provider, has setup a server that we can use for the ChinNet files and mailing lists. We can add anything, including

• Pictures.
• Sounds.
• Animations.
• Stories.
• Tips.
• Vetenary info and vets that are knowledgeable about chinchillas.
• Cage design pictures and drawings.
• Addresses where to buy chinchillas in your area.

In short, all chinchilla related files. To have yours added, follow the following procedure:

1. If you want to add a scan of a photo print, send it to :

       ChinNet,

   Please don't forget to include your email address, so i can contact you once they come in.

2. I will scan the picture for you. If possible, send us a second print, so I don't have to return it.
3. Now you decide want you want to do:
   • I can do some HTML authoring, embedding the pictures in a WWW page, and upload them to the server. In that case, please include a short story about the chinchilla, as you want it to appear on the web page. I will email the page and the pictures back to you, so you have a copy of them for safe keeping.
   • Or I can email the scans directly to you, and you do the HTML part. This gives you full control over how the page will look. This may be your first HTML project (it was for me), but it is fun.
4. Eitherway, I upload the finished product to the ChinNet server, so it can be viewed by everybody around the world.
5. If you want to have other files types added, just email them to me as an attachment.
6. You will be asked to put a ChinNet link image on your site that points back to ChinNet, please read below.
